Are you an entrepreneur? Do you want to be featured? LET ME KNOW!
I recently sung the praises of Scoutmob.com. With Scoutmob, I was able to find these fabulous shoes at Cherry Bomb Boutique in Atlanta. Instead of $44, I only paid $22 because the Scoutmob deal allowed you to take 50% off.
I must say that I am loving the celebration of all things both beautiful and black. I love that Keri Hilson’s new video is paying tribute to Josephine Baker, Dorothy Dandridge and others. I found this video online today and had to share it with everyone.

Personally, I found myself singing along and trying to learn the “pretty girl rock”. But some critics say that it toes that border between confidence and cockiness. What do you think?
So…it’s been a minute since I’ve featured an entrepreneur of the week. After some searching, I found one. This entrepreneur features hair accessories for women with natural hair. Her products include twists, hair ties, earrings, jewelry, bows, hairbands, bracelets, hair sticks, and hair clips. I really love her stuff because she has something for everyone. Here is one of her pieces, called Thing Four. It costs $18, and right now, she’s offering free shipping on orders of $20 or more.

Yes, that’s right. I’m a MAC. Not a PC. Except, like many people, I started out pro-PC. Macs were for rebels, as silly as it sounds. But then one fateful day, all that changed. I remember….I was close to finishing my undergraduate senior thesis. It was March, and I had been saving my thesis everywhere and all the time. I went to turn my computer on one day, and saw….
wait for it: the BLUE screen of DEATH!!!!
I was so devastated, and obviously needed a computer ASAP. I thought: should I buy another Dell? Or should I get a Mac? I chose the Mac, and have been happy ever since. I am not going to turn this post into an anti-PC, pro-MAC tirade. Instead, I just want to say I’m Tiffany, and I love my Mac. Just look at the cute picture that I took and “edited” with my Mac today.
Every week, I like to put the spotlight on an entrepreneur in the natural hair community. This week, I am highlighting BoutiqueDeBandeaux, which sells handmade accessories for natural hair. These accessories include headbands, flowers, and others. Check her out here. Here is an example of her work, available for $29.
